Fans were inspired throughout time to dig and work harder to make sure her accomplishments will not be forgotten. Selena is the Tejano singer who tragically killed in a shooting accident, has sparked the Latino reaction that can be likened to the reaction to John Lennon's deaths. She was an incredibly well-known singer for Latinos across North America. But her music touched both the young and the old. Selena has been called by many as the Latina Madonna, however she is still a great example to follow. Selena's family values off stage and her participation with AIDS awareness programs make her a good example.
